B&B, Tamar Valley, Cornwall

Rezare Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast offers comfortable, characterful accommodation with an emphasis on good food and sustainability. We have been awarded 4 Stars and a Silver Award in VisitBritain's quality scheme, and a Silver Award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme. Dogs are welcome.

Situated in a quiet, peaceful hamlet within the Tamar Valley AONB on the Cornwall / Devon border, midway between Bodmin moor and Dartmoor and both coasts, you will be perfectly placed to explore the region's many and varied attractions. These include :

• beautiful walking country, from quiet river walks along wide estuaries and through steep wooded valleys, up to the vast, open, craggy expanses of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor, and out onto the spectacular coastlines of the north and south coasts.
• varied and interesting cycle routes, through small, quiet country lanes that connect many delightful villages, hamlets and historical sites, offering everything from flat(ish) easy riding, to demanding steep inclines.
• horse riding to suit all skill levels
• canoeing, sailing, salmon and sea trout fishing on the River Tamar
• many places of historical interest, including a number of National Trust and English Heritage properties, and mining heritage sites
• beautiful gardens, from the grand and formal, to small and intimate

Although no longer a working farm, the surrounding area is entirely agricultural, which means that on the rare occasions that any traffic passes through, it is almost guaranteed to be a tractor. A number of residents keep their own animals, including sheep, cattle, and chickens, and the extensive birdlife produces a variety of sound which is a joy to wake up to.
